Announcement of new CEO to Skills Australia

The Deputy Prime Minister, the Hon Julia Gillard today announced the appointment of Robin Shreeve, as CEO of Skills Australia, effective October 2009.

Robin Shreeve is currently the CEO of the City of Westminster College, London. This college provides vocationally orientated education and training for over 7000 students across 300 courses.

Robin has a distinguished history within the tertiary sector including, Deputy Director-General, Technical and Further Education and Community Education, NSW Department of Education and Training. His breadth and depth of skills development will further complement the Board and Secretariat. Robin will be located in Sydney. Sue Beitz will remain as Head of the Secretariat in Canberra.
